Social distancing and a one-way system have been introduced within the attraction, however to comply with government guidance we now require all guests to wear face coverings throughout the entire attraction including The Slide.
At this time we require all guests to wear a face covering when using The Slide. To comply with government guidance regarding enclosed spaces we are unable to make any excpetions.
Children under the age of 11 are not required to wear a face coverings for the most part throughout the attraction, however they will be required to wear a face covering whilst using The Slide, this is to ensure we are compliant with government guidance.

We have introduced daily deep cleans of the attraction and you will see our team cleaning areas of high contact regularly throughout your visit
All guests will be required to wear a face covering whilst using The Slide. All areas where guests make contact with the slide will be disinfected between each slider.
We have always had a cleaning regime in place for this equipment. We have now introduced enhanced measures and invested in new equipment to ensure all equipment is disinfectant between each use using a disinfectant compliant with BS EN 14476, which is demonstrated to the COVID-19 virus.
At this time we are unfortunately unable to accommodate any guests on the slide who are not able to wear a face covering. This is for their own protection and the protection of others.
Our branded reusable souvenir face masks are available for purchase from the ticket office.
We are open daily from 11am to 3pm (last entry at 2:30pm)

Yes, all visitors will use a lift to make the 34 second journey to the viewing platforms. How you descend is your choice; by the lift, down the 455 stairs or via The Slide.
We do not have a visitor car park, however we do have a limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces and there are a number of public car parks near by. We also pride ourselves on being very well connected to local transport. Visit the Getting Here page on our main website for more information.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit is an attraction open to all. As such, we are totally dedicated to providing equal access for all visitors. We do have additional safety requirements for any visitor wishing to Ride The Slide and we ask that our visitors ensure they can meet these before booking any tickets for The Slide.
Visitors with a disability are entitled to a free Companion ticket for General Entry which can either be pre-booked over the phone by calling the Ticketing and Information Line (0333 800 8099) or issued on the day of your visit.

To use The Slide you must have a combination ticket for General Entry to the ArcelorMittal Orbit and The Slide. We do not sell standalone tickets for The Slide.
We recommend booking for The Slide in advance as tickets sell out very quickly and we cannot guarantee entry on the day.
No, but there is the option for London Pass holders to upgrade their ticket to include The Slide on the day, subject to availability.
You can only Ride The Slide once per ticket. For more slides, you can buy an additional ticket in advance via the Ticketing and Information Line (0333 800 8099) or in person at the attraction, subject to availability.
You must be at least eight years old and over 1.3m in height to ride The Slide. There is no maximum height limit.
The Health and Safety Executive confirm that having a height limit for reasons of Health and Safety does not constitute discrimination. We hope that you understand and accept that this decision has been made in the interest of your own safety.

Yes, as all visitors must Ride The Slide individually. Please note that children aged 8 to 13 must enter the attraction accompanied by an Adult with a valid ticket. The Adult is not required to Ride The Slide. You can purchase a ticket for Skyline Views for any visitors who do not wish to Slide and then purchase combination tickets for The Slide and Skyline Views for those visitors wishing to Ride The Slide.
Yes, there are a limited number of lockers available at the base of the sculpture. You will need a token to operate our lockers. Each token costs £1 and it is refundable at the end of your visit.
As The Slide is fully enclosed we recommend that this experience isn’t ideal for those with claustrophobia. We suggest that you come to look at The Slide and speak with our team before making a decision to buy a ticket.
We ask visitors not to wear loose clothing, large jewellery or inappropriate footwear on The Slide, but if your costume is within these parameters you should be fine. If you are in any doubt we suggest that you call our Ticketing and Information Line on 0333 800 8099 prior to booking your tickets in order to talk through the details of your planned costume.
We recommend that anyone with a pre-existing medical condition seeks medical advice before booking a ticket to Ride The Slide.
Yes. We provide safety equipment but this will not prevent you from wearing your glasses.

Unfortunately not – we need to ensure that everything used throughout The Slide has been inspected and approved by us. We know that our GoPros and harnesses have the correct and safe connections and we cannot allow visitors to use their own equipment.
